sculpture (digital photographs printed on fine art paper, steel), give way sign + additional label (printed on adhesive foil)
On a steel frame, a wave bends and reminds of a ski jumping hill. The wave of the sculpture "serpentine" also allows more associations and only plays with a possible connection to winter sports. Photographic drive-by shots are positioned as a print on the shaft, which can be considered as a serpentine from the side perspective. Through a digital alienation, two winter landscapes were melted together and combined into an alleged naturalistic nature photograph. A graphic of the traffic sign "Give way" with an additional label for serpentines is affixed on the window of the vitrine. The fact that the signs are in a subway station, where road signs are out of place (for trains as well as for ski jumpers) reduces the motif of the movement to absurdity.
